Polly came to visit. Oh my Lord we had so much fun:
I dressed up as a dead cat for Halloween:
And Lauren dressed up as a pumpkin for Halloween:
We met this guy in a club called Timbuktu and he span me round three times:
Me and Claudia continued to have lots of fun out and about and I started fancying hot philosophy boy obscene amounts:
And we continued to have lots of fun when not out and about:
The onesies have really become quite a regular feature of Flat 11.5, I have to say.
I had a skype date with Muffin:
I got really reallyyy ill and kept coughing my guts up for like four weeks and all lectures were really reallyyy embarrassing and I was trying to write my first philosophy essay and I was sooo ill and errgh it was horrible. The essay was really interesting though!! It was about Descartes Teleological Argument and we all know how much I like a bit of Descartes in my life. Yesss I listen to Radio 4 podcasts about Descartes in bed, because I want to.
I handed in my essay and then I went home for the week end for my sisters 18th birthday:
And then I went back to Bristol and continued having lots of fun filled times:
We even went to a moustache party and did our bit for Movember:
Me and hot philosophy boy walked back together from lectures on a regular occurrence and I sounded like an idiot at all times because I always do when I think someone's hot, and I bemoaned the fact that I still did not have his number, and he had not asked me out.
We went to see Zane Lowe at the O2. It was MENTAL. He was MENTAL. ABSOLUTELY MENTAL:
I went home again, for a sing along screening of Grease in Leicester Square which was SO MUCH FUN. (and oh yes also for my school awards ceremony which I couldn't actually go to - I got an award for Philosophy and Ethics because, well, it would appear I like philosophy) We went in fancy dress and stood up and sang and danced and there was a transvestite at the beginning and it was all very strange. (Sadly no photos, sorry. You'll just have to imagine it. To be honest, I don't think you'll be able to. You certainly won't be able to do it justice). I caught up with Muffin. I went for drinks with Polly and the girls. Team Williams also made the Christmas Pudding and had a 'Making the Christmas Pudding Party', as my mother so catchingly named it, with party food and music and champagne:
I went back to Bristol and Flat 11 had a Sunday Roast and I drank copious amounts of tea. I also went bat shit crazy when I was writing this philosophy essay on Hume and empiricism and scepticism and whether we can know that the sun will rise tomorrow morning (answer: we can't). I sat next to a guy in a lecture and was like 'hellooooo' as way of greeting and then I realised I didn't know him and I had thought he was someone else and I was soooo embarrassed. Hot philosophy boy continued to be hot and continued to not ask me out:
Charlotte turned 19. She invited loads of her friends over to pre drink before we all went out and it was really fun! I loved having a party in our flat. I made her a cake (obviously) and then we all got drunk (obviously) and she wore rabbit ears (obviously):
Flat 11.5 had Christmas Dinner and Secret Santa!!!! Ahh it was so amazing, there aren't even words to say how much I loved it. It was so chaotic and loud and funny and we played silly Christmas songs and pulled crackers and wore the paper party hats and the food was delicious and we drank mulled wine and we were all quite merry and we had to bring the other long table through and we damaged the wall and there weren't enough chairs and everyone wore a Christmas jumper and it felt just like a real family, or at least the Wam! video, and I just looked around and was like, this is perfect:
A week after Charlotte's birthday, Abby turned 20, but it was the same day as the Bristol Uni Christmas Party at the O2 so we dressed festive to celebrate. I made her a cake (obviously) and then we all got drunk (obviously) and I wore tinsel (obviously):
We had our final night out of the term in Timbuktu and did some yoga just before we went out:
And then my parents came to pick me up and we loaded the car up with my absurd amounts of stuff and I went home for Christmas.
and I went home for christmas...
